ABOUT ME

​

My name is addy, I make experimental music that aims to blur the lines between genres.

I've been making music for 5 years as of now; I was introduced to music through the 'Lofi-Rap' scene in 2020. As I shifted through Music scenes, what started as just wanting to hear myself singing / rapping, transformed into becoming a full fledged artist. In my early days, I was a part of the 'Emo-Rap' scene where I had found friends and where I learned more about music production.

 

My true passion for art began once I started producing my own music in early 2022. It opened a world of endless possibility for creativity which was a rabbit hole I fell in and never looked back since. I started teaching myself the guitar [inconsistently], and ever since then, I've been crafting my own sound and figuring out my place as an artist.

 

So many artists I've listen to have inspired me to create better and more complex ideas, thinking outside of a box that I never even knew existed in the first place. I used to enjoy drawing but eventually realized how difficult it may be let my passion show across social media; only once I learned music production did I find a true outlet to express my passion by utilizing multiple forms of art to create the final, fully conceptualized project I had a vision for. Realizing that is the true motivation I wanted out of my art. 

There is nothing more I want than for someone to listen to my work and have it be inspiration or motivation for them to create and pursue art of their own. Our world is always in need for more art, especially in an era where expression of art is able to transcend many forms of media, beyond just music.

My goal is to influence the creation of more art and new ideas.

What I hope to achieve from Aslan Media is to cultivate limitless creativity through the means of experimentation. I want our brand to be the kind that takes experimentation to another level thru our multi-media expression.
